Editorial Policy
Trust is the currency of our business. Our users rely on our rankings to make million-dollar hiring decisions. This policy outlines our commitment to objectivity, accuracy, and transparency.
1. No "Pay-to-Play" Rankings
We do not accept payment to improve a company's organic ranking.
Our "Top 10" lists and organic directory rankings are determined solely by our proprietary scoring algorithm, which evaluates:
- Proven Experience: Verified case studies and client references.
- Technical Depth: Density of certified engineers (SnowPro, Databricks Champion, etc.).
- Market Presence: Years in business, team size, and thought leadership.
While we may offer clearly marked "Sponsored" placements or lead generation services in the future, these will always be distinct from organic editorial rankings.
2. Data Verification Sources
Our data is aggregated from multiple sources to ensure accuracy:
- Direct Submission: Data provided by firms during our intake process.
- Public Records: LinkedIn insights, Partner Directories (AWS, Snowflake, Azure), and Press Releases.
- Client Interviews: Direct feedback from procurement leaders and CTOs.
3. The "Verified" Badge
Companies marked with a Verified badge have undergone extended diligence. We have:
- Reviewed a live MSA or SOW (redacted for confidentiality) to verify rates.
- Interviewed at least one technical lead from the firm.
- Validated their partner status directly with the cloud provider.
4. Corrections & Updates
The data engineering market moves fast. We aim to review all profiles quarterly. If you see an error in a profile or believe a ranking is based on outdated information, please report it immediately.
How to report an error: Use the "Report Issue" link
on the company profile page or email [email protected].
A Note on Conflict of Interest
Our analysts are prohibited from holding equity or paid advisory positions in any of the boutique firms we rank.
